Yoshio Hayashi 

Yoshio Hayashi was born in Hilo, Hawaii and educated in Chicago and at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. He was an award-winning commercial graphic designer for some 30 years, until his retirement in 1994. His paintings have been shown in Hawaii Watercolor Society and Japanese Chamber of Commerce exhibitions, and two of his paintings have been purchased by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.

Yoshio says, “My discipline is basic: Do your homework, understand your challenge and apply your talent without restraint.”
