Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period (1821-1850) bronze Chinese censer in the form of a boy on an ox. This bronze censer has a boy astride an ox. The ox was the common beast of burden on farms in Asia. The boy is the caretaker of the animal when not being used. The boy is playing the flute. There are a few places on the bronze with silver inlays.
