Chinese carved Suzhou agate snuff bottle, ca 1860. The agate from which this bottle was carved is a translucent grey-white with the amber colored part of the stone used to create the relief carving on the face. The carving of a paragon crossing a bridge in the company of villagers is very well defined. The bottle is very well hollowed.
