18th-19th century bronze Tibetan Vajra and Ghanta. The Ghanta is a bell that represents wisdom and is held in the left hand. It is used in combination with the Vajra. The Vajra represents means. Both are part of the ritual of meditation and chanting. They are tools of Tibetan Tantric Buddhist rites.

The inside of the bell bears four lotus petals interspersed with a double vajra and the characters for om ah hum.
