19th century natural pebble snuff bottle made of Kun Lun jade with a lapis top. This natural pebble shaped snuff bottle has a beautiful mottled gray/white color and texture. The bottle has been extremely well hollowed. Obviously it was intended to hold a good deal of snuff. The sides of the bottle have been incised with calligraphy, most likely a line of old poetry. There are 1 or 2 of the characters that are unreadable.
