19th century Chinese seal case. This seal case has 2 parts for a seal and seal paste. It has a cord that runs through the top in order that it may be carried on the belt. On the front there is the design of a flowering plant in a pot with a bird in the branches of the tree. On the back is calligraphy and a seal. It is most likey papier mache covered with lacquer.
